I started in the Zebrafish lab in May 2018 and I have been fortunate enough to be a part of multiple projects. My honours thesis consisted of investigating the impact of ocean acidification. Specifically, we exposed zebrafish to elevated CO2 levels and then measured anxiety-like behaviour through the open field and novel object approach tests. Currently, I am working on finishing a couple of projects including analyzing neurotransmitter levels in zebrafish brains that were collected in August 2019. In September 2020 I will be starting a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology at the University of Alberta.
